Still Accounting is a small, established practice based in Bude, providing accounts, tax and bookkeeping services to businesses across Cornwall and beyond.

We believe accountancy doesn't need to be complicated. We keep things straightforward, explain things in plain English, and work on a fixed fee basis so you always know where you stand.

We look after all the usual things you'd expect from an accountant — annual accounts, tax returns, VAT, payroll and bookkeeping — along with budgets, forecasts and management accounts for businesses that like to keep a closer eye on their numbers.

We're a small practice and prefer it that way. It means we get to know our clients properly, rather than being just another name on a filing system.

Heather is a Chartered Certified Accountant with a background in the travel industry, having worked in accounts for a small independent travel agency, an international airline and a UK tour operator, before moving into practice as a senior manager and later setting up Still Accounting.

That mix of corporate and small business experience means Heather understands both sides of the numbers — the practicalities of running a business day to day, and the discipline needed to keep the books in proper order.

Away from the office, Heather can usually be found running, cycling, walking, or at the gym.
